A leading vascular surgery team is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner
for a nights-only
inpatient vascular surgery position in Hartford, Connecticut.
Position Highlights:
- Full-time nights only
- Inpatient vascular surgery
- Premium night shift differentials offered
- No call
- Manage vascular surgery patients and crisis interventions
- Daily patient rounding
- Evaluate new vascular surgery consultations throughout the hospital
- Provide pre- and post-operative care
- Assist with operative cases as needed
- Manage discharges and coordinate transitions of care
- Collaborate with vascular surgery attending physicians and medical providers
- EPIC EMR
- Dedicated support through the Office of Advanced Practice
- Mentorship and orientation programs available
- Practice at a Level I Trauma Center and major teaching hospital

Qualifications:
- Certified Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
- Unrestricted Connecticut medical license or eligibility for licensure
- 2+ years of vascular surgery APP experience preferred
