Seeking a BC/BE Vascular Neurologist to join an expanding stroke team providing both inpatient and telestroke patient care in eastern North Carolina.
Highlights include:
- Full-time, employed position
- Hospital privileges
- US vascular neurology fellowship or vast experience in vascular neurology is required
- Academic appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Professor
- Established clinical neuroscience team of 10 neurosurgeons, including dual-trained cerebrovascular specialists and 20 + neurologists including an interventional neurologist, 4 vascular neurologists, 4 neurointensivists and 13 subspecialty neurologists
- Subspecialties include pediatric neurology, epilepsy, movement disorders, headache, neuromuscular, sleep medicine, intraoperative monitoring and neuro-oncology
- Large team of inpatient and outpatient Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
- 7 on/7 off or 14on/ 14 off schedule with 12 hour shifts rotating days and nights
- No call
- Inpatient stroke shift is consult only with no admission or discharge responsibilities
- Outpatient opportunities available for interested applicants
- ACGME neurology residency recently approved and to start in 2025
- Strong investment in technology including Gamma Knife, NeuroBlate, and RAPID
