Seeking a BC/BE Full Trauma and Emergency General Surgeon to join our expanding group northwest of Chicago, Illinois.
Details:
- Full-time position is 14 days per month in one or two blocks that include weekday and weekend call shifts
- 100% acute care/trauma practice, no elective practice
- Cover trauma alerts and EGS consultations
- Round on 30-bed ICU, step-down unit and medical/surgical floors
- On-site clinic is covered by APP and supported by elective general surgeons
- Advanced Practice Provider coverage 7 a.m.–5 p.m. weekdays and 7 a.m.–3 p.m. weekends, with on-call APP for OR assisting
- Three Da Vinci Xi robots with 24/7 access for acute care surgery
- More than 900 trauma and EGS cases per year
- ED volume: 72,000 per year
- Epic EMR
- Call response time within 30 minutes to hospital
