A physician-led academic health system in the Phoenix metro area is seeking an experienced BC/BE Trauma Surgeon
to serve as Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Program Director
and Surgical ICU Medical Director.
Position Highlights:
- Leadership role as Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Program Director
- Serve as Surgical ICU Medical Director
- Practice trauma, emergency surgery, and surgical critical care
- Faculty appointment with resident and fellow teaching
- Opportunity to lead research in health services, translational science, or basic science
- Work within a collaborative, physician-led academic environment
- Practice at a nationally recognized Level I Adult & Pediatric Trauma and Burn Center
- Home to Phoenix's only ACGME-accredited Surgical Critical Care residency

Qualifications:
- MD or DO
- BC/BE in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care
- Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency and Surgical Critical Care fellowship
- Strong experience in trauma, emergency surgery, and surgical critical care
- Demonstrated record of teaching and scholarly activity
- Commitment to academic medicine, leadership, and multidisciplinary collaboration
