Position Highlights:
- Full-time opportunity with flexible consideration for part-time schedules
- Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Primarily focused on skilled nursing facility rounding and geriatric patient care
- Join a collaborative team of four geriatricians, seven advanced practice providers, and dedicated nursing staff
- Manage patient care across post-acute care, long-term care, assisted living, and memory care environments
- Work closely with APPs to address patient needs and coordinate care plans
- Hospital-based experience is not required
- Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians with strong geriatrics experience, as well as fellowship-trained Geriatricians, are encouraged to apply
- Serve as a physician resource for APPs through a rotating backup call schedule shared among the geriatric physician team
- Utilize an integrated electronic medical record system shared with area hospitals
- Optional opportunity for additional income through urgent care coverage
- Academic and teaching opportunities available with a regional medical education program
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in:
- Family Medicine
- Internal Medicine
- Geriatric Medicine
- Experience caring for older adults preferred
- Eligible for Illinois medical licensure
Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation: $310K–$315K
