Seeking a BC/BE Rheumatologist to join an expanding specialty team in Southern Maine, providing comprehensive diagnosis and management of rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions in a collaborative, community-based referral center.
Position Highlights/Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage a full spectrum of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases
- Treat conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, psoriatic arthritis, gout, vasculitis, and connective tissue disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing biologic and immunomodulatory therapies
- Perform joint injections and musculoskeletal evaluations
- Build and grow a rheumatology service line within a supportive hospital system
- Collaborate with primary care, orthopedics, dermatology, nephrology, and other specialties
- Participate in multidisciplinary care coordination and quality improvement initiatives
- Optional involvement in teaching, research, and community outreach
