Seeking BE/BC Rheumatologist
to join our growing medical team in West Plains, Missouri. This physician will diagnose and treat patients with rheumatic diseases, autoimmune conditions, and musculoskeletal disorders while providing high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse population across the region.
- Diagnose and manage rheumatologic conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, osteoporosis, and other autoimmune disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans including medication management and infusion therapies
- Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic studies
- Educate patients on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and treatment options
- Maintain accurate medical records and comply with all regulatory and quality standards
- Participate in hospital and clinic quality improvement initiatives
The area is in an underserved area and we do accept J1 and H1B applicants. We are also located in the Delta Regional Authority which has no limit on J1 waivers and there is no waiver application deadline.
Join an accredited regional referral facility, servicing approximately 180,000 population in a nine-county area in south central Missouri and north central Arkansas. Over 100 active physicians are on the medical staff comprised of half primary care and half specialists. A number of services not normally found in rural areas are provided. For example, we have exceptionally strong programs in areas of interventional and non-interventional cardiology, obstetrics, pulmonology, neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic and general surgery.
Additionally, hospital provides medical and radiation oncology services and has extensive outreach programs.
