Position Highlights:
- Lead day-to-day behavioral health operations and supervise program staff
- Participate in hiring, training, supervision, and staff evaluations
- Guide behavioral health integration across medical, dental, vision, and other departments
- Identify opportunities for program improvement and innovation
- Supervise and train behavioral health externs to support recruitment and retention
- Help develop procedures supporting quality care, productivity, risk management, and employee engagement
- Provide high-level input on behavioral health grants and program goals
- Monitor program contracts, budgets, and performance to ensure compliance with State and County requirements
- Oversee program documentation, statistical analysis, and reports for agency and funders
- Participate in peer review, quality improvement, and program evaluation
- Coordinate clinic audit preparation and serve as the behavioral health point of contact during audits
- Participate in community needs assessments, program planning, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with community partners and internal departments to represent behavioral health programs
- Promote staff safety, de-escalation, teamwork, and a respectful patient-centered environment
- Participate in development and implementation of the behavioral health program budget and business plan
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in social work or directly equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of behavioral health or related experience
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory or directly related project leadership experience
- Current Psychologist license
- Bilingual skills; Spanish highly desirable
Compensation & Benefits:
- $128,810.00 - $149,156.00 annually
