An established healthcare organization in Northern Michigan is seeking a BC/BE Psychiatrist to join a collaborative Behavioral Health team.
Position Details:
- Full-time employed position
- 65% outpatient and 35% inpatient responsibilities
- Monday–Friday outpatient schedule
- Collaborative team of experienced Psychiatric Mental Health APPs
- Inpatient APP support and overnight first-call coverage through Telehub
- Average inpatient census of 8–10 patients
- Inpatient service rotation approximately one week every three weeks
- Opportunities for outpatient psychiatry, telepsychiatry, and inpatient psychiatric care
- Participation in Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) services
- Psychiatric consultation services for the Emergency Department and inpatient units
- Shared call rotation, including holiday coverage
- Flexibility to customize patient panel based on provider interests and expertise
