Seeking an experienced full-time Family Nurse Practitioner to join an established outpatient primary care team in Western Maine, providing comprehensive, patient-centered care in a supportive community-based practice.


Position Highlights:

  • 100% outpatient primary care setting
  • Monday–Friday schedule with strong work-life balance
  • No inpatient responsibilities
  • Manage patients across the lifespan in a primary care clinic setting
  • Established patient panel with strong referral support
  • Collaborative environment with physicians and care team members
  • Provide wellness visits, chronic disease management, acute care, and preventive services
  • Order and interpret diagnostic testing
  • Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans within scope of practice
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record


Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology NP, or equivalent
  • Active or eligible Maine Board of Nursing licensure
  • DEA certification or eligibility
  • Prior primary care experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach
