Seeking an experienced full-time Family Nurse Practitioner to join an established outpatient primary care team in Western Maine, providing comprehensive, patient-centered care in a supportive community-based practice.
Position Highlights:
- 100% outpatient primary care setting
- Monday–Friday schedule with strong work-life balance
- No inpatient responsibilities
- Manage patients across the lifespan in a primary care clinic setting
- Established patient panel with strong referral support
- Collaborative environment with physicians and care team members
- Provide wellness visits, chronic disease management, acute care, and preventive services
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans within scope of practice
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology NP, or equivalent
- Active or eligible Maine Board of Nursing licensure
- DEA certification or eligibility
- Prior primary care experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach
