An established PM&R team in Western Wisconsin is seeking a BC/BE PM&R physician for a hybrid inpatient and outpatient practice with a primary focus on neurological rehabilitation.
Position Highlights:
- Join a multispecialty Neuroscience Center alongside Neurology, Neurosurgery and Pain Medicine
- Become the 4th Neurorehabilitation PM&R physician on an established team
- Hybrid inpatient and outpatient practice with a strong focus on neurological rehabilitation
- Recently remodeled 20-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
- Excellent hospitalist support for medically complex patients
- Outpatient focus includes CVA, SCI, TBI, MS, concussion and spasticity management
- Opportunity to incorporate musculoskeletal PM&R into the outpatient practice
- Shared call with APCs, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Opportunity for EMG and teaching within a collegial academic environment
- Work alongside PM&R physicians, APCs, neuropsychologists and chiropractors
Clinical Scope & Support:
- Neurological rehabilitation for stroke, spinal cord injury, TBI, MS and concussion
- Spasticity management, including Botox and intrathecal baclofen pumps
- EMG, trigger point injections and nerve blocks
- Opportunity for a reduced MSK practice component
- Inpatient rehabilitation supported by 4 PM&R APCs
- Outpatient practice supported by dedicated PM&R APCs
- Integrated multidisciplinary support through Neurology, Neurosurgery, Pain Medicine, Neuropsychology and Chiropractic
