An established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Austin, TX, is seeking an experienced, mission-driven Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
to join a collaborative, fast-paced outpatient clinic serving an underserved community. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a supportive, team-based environment with both medical and behavioral health integration.
Position Highlights:
- Monday – Friday schedule, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Outpatient setting with both in-person and virtual visit options
- Patient population ages 5 and up, with a strong pediatric focus
- Average daily volume of 14–16 patients (range 7–16 depending on preference and experience)
- Support from an interdisciplinary on-site team including:
- 1 Pediatrician
- 1 Family Medicine Physician
- 1 Family Nurse Practitioner
- 1 Psychiatrist
- 3 Therapists
- 1 Community Health Worker
- Convenient clinic access with good parking available
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 1 year of experience as a PMHNP
- Passion for working with underserved populations
- Ability to provide care to patients with limited psychosocial resources
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Flexible, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: $119k – $187k based on productivity
