Position Highlights:
- Provide comprehensive primary care including examination, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
- Address disease prevention and health promotion needs
- Educate patients and families on preventive care, diagnoses, and treatment plans
- Order referrals, laboratory testing, and diagnostic studies as needed
- Practice independently while collaborating closely with the medical team
- Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation
- Participate in quality improvement and peer review initiatives
- Contribute to health education, prevention programs, policies, and procedures
- Attend staff conferences, training, workshops, and meetings
- Opportunity to provide care across multiple San Jose clinic locations, based on site needs
- Local travel between sites and occasional travel for community events may be required
Qualifications:
- Current California Physician Assistant license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field preferred
- 1 year of directly related experience preferred
- Community or public health experience preferred
- Reliable transportation required
- Family Planning Certificate required if working within a family planning program
Compensation & Benefits:
- $81–$90 per hour
