Position Highlights:
- Provide comprehensive primary medical care to patients
- Perform examinations, evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment
- Provide follow-up care and coordinate specialty referrals
- Order labs and diagnostic testing as appropriate
- Address disease prevention and health promotion
- Educate patients and families on preventive care, diagnoses, and treatment
- Maintain accurate, confidential electronic medical records
- Collaborate with physicians and other medical staff for consultation and referral
- Participate in quality assurance and peer review programs
- Contribute to health promotion, education, and prevention initiatives
- Participate in staff conferences, training, workshops, and meetings
- Work across multiple sites with local travel as needed
- Flexible schedule may include evenings and weekends
Qualifications:
- Current California Physician Assistant license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field preferred
- One year of directly related experience preferred
- Community or public health experience preferred
- Family Planning Certificate required if working in a family planning program
- Reliable transportation
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, professionalism, and adaptability
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Compensation & Benefits:
- $74.88–$86.81 per hour
