We are seeking a BE/BC Pediatric Pulmonologist to join an established academic division in northeastern Tennessee dedicated to delivering comprehensive, family-centered respiratory care while contributing to the education of future healthcare professionals in the region.

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Provide inpatient and outpatient pediatric pulmonology care
  • Perform and interpret complete pulmonary function testing
  • Conduct flexible bronchoscopy evaluations and procedures
  • Collaborate with a broad network of pediatric subspecialists
  • Opportunity to help develop a regional Cystic Fibrosis Center
  • Participate in teaching medical students and residents
  • Engage in research and academic activities (optional)
  • Opportunity to shape a growing pediatric pulmonology program


Practice Environment & Facilities:

  • Dedicated outpatient clinic space with strong clinical support staff, including a full-time respiratory therapist
  • Fully equipped pulmonary function laboratory and procedural capabilities
  • Hospital privileges within a comprehensive regional children’s hospital system featuring:
    • 24-bed pediatric inpatient unit
    • 48-bed Level III NICU
    • 10-bed PICU
    • Pediatric emergency department
    • St. Jude-affiliated pediatric hematology/oncology program
  • Extensive subspecialty collaboration across neonatology, cardiology, critical care, endocrinology, gastroenterology, genetics, infectious disease, neurology, rheumatology, pediatric surgery, anesthesia, and radiology


Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree
  • Completion of Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology at time of hire
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in Tennessee
