An academic orthopaedic program in western West Virginia is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon to join its growing team.
Position Highlights:
- Full-time fellowship-trained Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon opportunity
- Transition into an established pediatric orthopaedic practice following a retiring surgeon
- Opportunity to lead and further develop pediatric orthopaedic services
- Primarily based at a 72-bed pediatric specialty hospital
- Broad regional referral base spanning West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio
- Serve as a key regional provider of pediatric orthopaedic care where access remains limited in many communities
- Treat a wide spectrum of pediatric musculoskeletal conditions
- Supported by modern operating facilities, experienced APPs and a collaborative multidisciplinary team
- Faculty appointment with an academic medical school
- Participate in orthopaedic resident education, scholarly activity and other academic initiatives
- Join an academic orthopaedic department with fellowship-trained physicians across the full spectrum of orthopaedic subspecialties
- Support an established orthopaedic residency program training four residents per year
