Seeking an experienced Board Certified Pathologist to join fantastic team in southern Delaware. CP Boarded required, other subspecialties welcome, especially Dermatopathology and Hematopathology. The group is well-respected in the community and has been providing outstanding quality pathology services for the past 25 years.
Details:
- Director opportunity available as well
- Team consists of 10 pathologists supporting the pathology departments at 3 community hospitals and several surgical centers.
- Building a relationship with the community of doctors is key.
- Call: Rotating call schedule but very rarely being called in – might be called in for gift of life/organ donor call or blood bank question.
- Autopsy rotation – not a lot – they maybe get 5 a year.
- Volume: 17k cases last year; 52k procedures last year
- Open door policy among all staff and pathologists
- Work on any type of case
- Lots of autonomy
