A mission-driven, not-for-profit healthcare organization in Newark, Ohio is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner to join a family practice team in a school-based health setting focused on expanding access to high-quality, patient-centered primary care in the local community.
Position Highlights:
- Part-time, school-based family practice setting

Responsibilities:
- Obtain comprehensive medical, family, and social histories
- Perform physical exams and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing as appropriate
- Provide patient and family education to support health decision-making
- Coordinate care with other providers and community resources
- Document findings and care plans accurately in the medical record
- Participate in quality improvement and utilization initiatives
- Support health education and outreach efforts in the community
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with master’s preparation as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current Nurse Practitioner certification from a nationally recognized organization
- Active Ohio licensure or eligibility to obtain
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Prior NP experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based care environment
