A collaborative neuroscience program in picturesque Northwest Connecticut, ~30 miles west of Hartford, is seeking a BC/BE Neurologist
for a part-time Neurohospitalist opportunity requiring just 12 weeks of inpatient coverage per year.
Position Highlights:
- Part-time, 12 weeks per year
- Each week consists of 7 consecutive days, 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
- Share telephone-based evening call coverage
- Weekend evenings covered by Teleneurology
- Consultative neurology service covering the ED, medical and surgical floors, and medical and surgical ICUs
- Care for a wide range of acute neurological conditions
- Acute stroke care experience essential
- Hands-on clinical supervision and teaching of advanced practice providers preferred
- Opportunities to participate in clinical research, quality improvement and patient experience initiatives
- Opportunities for resident and faculty interviews and professional/public lectures
- Practice in a 105+bed community hospital
- Join a rapidly expanding neuroscience program with 165+ neuroscience physicians and advanced practitioners across multiple subspecialties

Qualifications:
- Board certified or board eligible in Neurology
- Comfortable providing acute stroke care
