Medical Center northwest of Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced part-time Neonatal Physician Assistant to join their team!
Details:
- Part-time position (24 hrs/weekly)
- Provide comprehensive care to healthy term and late‑preterm newborns in a Level I Newborn Nursery under the supervision of a licensed pediatrician
- The PA is responsible for:
- Routine newborn assessments
- Daily management
- Discharge planning
- Family education
- Coordination of care in accordance with AAP guidelines, hospital policies, and state regulations

Requirements:
- Newborn care experience required
- Prior newborn nursery experience, circumcision experience preferred
- Given training and on-the-job experience incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current NC license
- NCCPA Certified
- ACLS and PALS or BCLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required within three months of employment date.
- NRP Certification
