A physician-owned, multispecialty healthcare group in the heart of Washington is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join its growing Orthopedics team. Position Highlights:

  • Full-time, employed position
  • Mix of clinic and surgical first assist responsibilities
  • Provide care for both acute and chronic orthopedic conditions
  • Evaluate patients, establish diagnoses, order and interpret diagnostic testing, and develop treatment plans
  • Perform office procedures and prescribe medications within scope of practice
  • Assist orthopedic surgeons in the operating room
  • Shared department call rotation
  • Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons and an experienced clinical team
  • Utilize a fully integrated electronic medical record system
  • Participate in patient education, quality improvement initiatives, and community outreach as desired


Compensation/Benefits:

Qualifications:

  • Active Physician Assistant license with prescriptive authority in Washington State (required by start date)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
  • Orthopedic or surgical experience required
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced orthopedic practice
