An established, multidisciplinary healthcare organization in central Vermont is seeking an Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Position Highlights:
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and detect ocular diseases and abnormalities
- Diagnose and treat common vision conditions, including nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and presbyopia
- Prescribe glasses and contact lenses and educate patients on proper use and maintenance
- Manage and monitor chronic eye conditions, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery or other treatments
- Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and strategies to maintain optimal vision
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and primary care providers to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and stay current with advances in optometric care
Compensation & Benefits:
- Annual salary range of $220K–$350K, commensurate with experience
- $50K sign-on bonus
- Production-based bonus incentives with additional earning potential
