Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive eye care services for patients of all ages
- Diagnose and manage ocular conditions including glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and amblyopia
- Perform and interpret diagnostic testing (fundus photography, visual fields, OCT)
- Prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses
- Collaborate with ophthalmology for surgical co-management
- Educate patients on eye health and preventive care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams to support integrated care
- Participate in community outreach and professional development activities
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
- Active Indiana optometry license (or ability to obtain)
- Commitment to patient-centered, community-focused care
