Details/Responsibilities:
- Full-time opportunity
- The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive eye care services to a diverse patient population, focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of eye diseases and conditions
- This role is crucial in ensuring access to high-quality eye care for our rural community
- Conduct thorough eye examinations and diagnose various eye conditions
- Perform surgical procedures as needed, including cataract surgery, glaucoma treatment and laser procedures
- Prescribe corrective lenses and medications
- Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote eye health awareness
