A state-of-the-art medical center on Chicago’s northwest side is seeking a BC/BE OB/GYN physician to join its collaborative and innovative women’s health team. This role offers a mix of obstetric and gynecologic care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with flexibility in clinic, surgical, and labor coverage to suit different practice preferences.
Position Highlights:
- Full-time, day-shift schedule with a mix of office, surgical, and inpatient care
- Clinic hours: approximately 16–25 patient-contact hours per week
- Surgery: ½ day to 4 hours per week, including access to robotic surgery
- Labor call: 1–2 restricted in-house shifts per week/month with post-call time off; unrestricted call typically 1:3 (weekday + every 3rd weekend)
- Average deliveries: 7–12 per month per physician
- Clinic volume: ~20 patients per session
- Work within a multidisciplinary team including Certified Nurse Midwives, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, nurses, and support staff
- Electronic Medical Record system: Epic
Qualifications:
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active or eligible for Illinois medical license
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing comprehensive, patient-centered women’s health care
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $330K–$425K with productivity bonus
- Sign-on and relocation bonuses available
