A thriving regional birthing center just southwest of Hartford, Connecticut is seeking a full-time, BC/BE OB/GYN to join its established practice. This is an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive women’s health care in a collaborative, academic environment with access to advanced obstetric and surgical resources
Position Highlights:
- Full-time, 40-hour, daytime position
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. outpatient schedule
- Busy regional birthing center with ~1,600 births annually
- Level IIIa NICU and 24-hour anesthesia coverage
- Regional referral center for high-risk OB
- Level II ultrasound and robust Maternal-Fetal Medicine services
- Robotic OR and opportunities for OR and Labor & Delivery coverage
- Mix of outpatient clinical sessions and flex time supporting clinic, OR and L&D
- Teaching opportunities with ~40 UConn residents rotating throughout the year
- Academic appointment at the University of Connecticut
- No routine weekends, holidays or call requirements; weekend coverage may occur as permitted by patient needs and call rotations
