Position Overview & Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and ongoing patient assessments
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of mental health conditions, from mild to severe and persistent illness
- Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate referrals as needed
- Provide ongoing medication management and psychiatric treatment
- Collaborate with Medical Director, Behavioral Health Director, Family Nurse Practitioners, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Support coordinated, team-based care across the behavioral health continuum
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Occasional weekends, holidays, or irregular hours may be required
- Ability to meet physical demands including standing, walking, lifting up to 35 lbs, and performing tasks requiring manual dexterity
- Salary Range:
$117K to $152K Annually
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited program
- Current licensure in the State of Michigan as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner
- Board certification as a PMHNP (ANCC or AANPCB)
- Michigan Controlled Substance License and current DEA registration
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in mental health, including assessment, medication management, and crisis intervention
- Experience with developmental disabilities and/or pediatric populations preferred
- BLS certification required
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records
- Valid Michigan driver’s license and reliable transportation
