An established healthcare team in Rockford, Illinois is seeking an experienced BE/BC Neurologist to join its growing inpatient neurology program.
Position Highlights:
- Dedicated inpatient neurology practice with no outpatient clinic duties
- 7-on/7-off schedule shared between two Neurohospitalists
- Provide inpatient consultations, daily rounding and individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and complex neurological conditions
- Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, nursing teams and other specialists to coordinate care and optimize outcomes
- Communicate diagnoses, treatment options and prognoses with patients and families
- Coordinate discharge planning, care transitions and appropriate outpatient follow-up
- Complete timely, thorough documentation in the electronic medical record
- Remote pager call from home after completing daily onsite responsibilities

- Annual salary: $383,394–$427,897, based on experience
