A mission-driven, nonprofit community health organization is seeking a BE/BC Family Medicine Physician
to provide outpatient primary care through its Fremont-based mobile health program. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who enjoys community medicine, variety, and bringing care directly to patients who may otherwise face barriers to accessing traditional clinic services.
The physician will work from modern mobile clinic units serving schools, seniors, community sites, and other underserved populations. The organization is one of the largest Federally Qualified Health Centers in Northern California and provides integrated medical, behavioral health, dental, vision, pharmacy, specialty, and social-support services.
- Fremont-based mobile health program
- Provide care through multiple mobile clinic programs, including school-based, senior, community, and healthcare-access initiatives
- Outpatient primary care in a patient-centered, community-based setting
- Care for a diverse, multicultural and multilingual patient population
- Collaborative team of physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, medical assistants, behavioral health professionals, and support staff
- Perform examinations, evaluations, diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, health screenings, and minor office procedures
- Manage acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions
- Educate patients and families regarding preventive care, diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans
- Coordinate laboratory testing, diagnostic services, referrals, and specialty care
- Participate in clinical quality improvement, peer review, and the development of community health programs
- Provide clinical consultation and support to nurse practitioners and physician assistants
- Opportunities to supervise and mentor medical students, interns, and other healthcare trainees
- Flexible scheduling with occasional evening or weekend coverage based on program needs
Compensation & Benefits:
- $233,280.00 - $270,418.18 salary range
