Position Highlights:
- 50% administrative leadership / 50% clinical practice
- Lead an established, highly respected palliative care program
- Provide strategic, operational and clinical leadership across the Central Connecticut region
- Partner with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, APRNs, nurses, social workers, chaplains and bereavement specialists
- Drive program growth, innovation, quality improvement and community engagement
- Mentor residents and advanced practice providers
- Foster a culture of collaboration, clinical excellence and compassionate care
- Advocate for patients, families and care teams

Qualifications:
- MD or DO with eligibility for Connecticut medical licensure
- Fellowship trained and board certified in Hospice & Palliative Medicine
- Minimum 3 years of palliative care practice experience
- Minimum 2 years of physician leadership experience
- Eligible for appointment to the University of Connecticut School of Medicine
- Collaborative leadership style with strong emotional intelligence and clinical judgment
