Join a comprehensive behavioral health program approximately 30 miles from New Haven, Connecticut, as a BC/BE Psychiatrist serving as Medical Director of a specialized Adult Mood Disorders inpatient unit.
Position Highlights:
- Medical Director role for a specialized Adult Mood Disorders inpatient unit
- Lead and collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary treatment team
- Provide direct inpatient psychiatric care for adults with mood, anxiety and trauma-related disorders
- Participate in resident supervision and medical student teaching
- Academic appointment eligibility through Quinnipiac University’s Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine
- Dedicated academic time with a Psychiatry Residency Program
- Monday–Friday schedule
- No required after-hours call
- Optional moonlighting opportunities

- Comprehensive behavioral health continuum including adult, dual diagnosis and child/adolescent inpatient services
- Emergency, consult-liaison, geriatric, intensive outpatient and outpatient behavioral health services

Qualifications:
- MD or DO
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Eligible for unrestricted Connecticut medical licensure
- Interest in academic psychiatry, teaching and leadership
