Seeking a Mandarin-speaking BC/BE Physician to join a collaborative PACE team in the Boston, MA area, providing compassionate, patient-centered care that helps older adults remain safely and independently in their homes while enjoying an exceptional work-life balance.


Position Highlights:

  • Full-Time position
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule
  • No nights, weekends, or holidays
  • Provide care in the clinic, participants' homes, and skilled nursing facilities
  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations and routine follow-up care
  • Evaluate and treat acute illnesses and post-hospitalization needs
  • Utilize telehealth when clinically appropriate
  • Participate in hospital rounding and a shared on-call rotation
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
  • Manage chronic conditions, preventive care, and palliative/end-of-life care


Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Mandarin is required; Cantonese proficiency is preferred
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Geriatric Medicine Board Certification preferred
  • Active Massachusetts medical license
  • Current Massachusetts controlled substance registration and DEA registration
  • Suboxone Waiver preferred
  • Current CPR certification
  • Eligible for hospital and long-term care privileges
  • One year of geriatrics experience preferred
  • Experience serving culturally diverse, multilingual, and underserved communities preferred
  • Comfortable providing home visits
  • Comfortable with palliative and end-of-life care
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical judgment
  • Highly organized with excellent problem-solving skills
  • COVID-19 vaccination preferred
