Position Highlights:
- Provide integrated behavioral health services within a primary care setting
- Consult with primary care providers regarding mental health, substance use, and psychosocial concerns
- Support patients with behavioral health needs related to chronic pain and chronic disease
- Conduct behavioral health screening, triage, evaluation, and assessment
- Provide individual, family, and group interventions, including CBT and contingency management
- Provide crisis intervention and behavioral health support
- Offer group treatment, psychoeducation, and health education
- Collaborate with a psychiatrist regarding psychopharmacological consultation within scope of practice
- Work closely with medical case managers and interdisciplinary healthcare providers
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Coordinate referrals to appropriate community resources
- Provide comprehensive services including intake, treatment planning, counseling, collateral intervention, and outreach
- Participate in clinical case conferences, peer review, quality assurance, and program evaluation
- Provide behavioral health consultation and training to clinic staff
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, case records, reports, and program materials
- Contribute to ongoing development of behavioral health procedures and protocols
- Practice in a multicultural, multilingual community health environment
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work/Social Welfare or doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
- Current California LCSW or Psychologist license
- Current LPCC license
- Fluent Spanish-speaking ability highly desired
- One year of directly related experience preferred
- Experience in primary care consultation, behavioral medicine, health psychology, or related settings preferred
- Community health experience and/or experience serving low-income multicultural populations preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to culturally and linguistically sensitive care
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed
Compensation & Benefits:
- $92,200–$106,878.24 annual salary
