Seeking a full-time BC/BE Interventional Radiologist to join a dynamic, hospital-employed team in Northern Illinois, offering a broad scope of image-guided procedures in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Position Highlights & Key Responsibilities:
- Hospital-employed opportunity in a suburban acute care facility with a busy ER and inpatient service lines.
- Full spectrum of minimally invasive, image-guided procedures, including:
- Peripheral vascular interventions
- Embolizations and tumor ablations
- Dialysis access
- Pain management injections
- Biopsies and drainages
- Paracentesis and thoracentesis
- Provide consults for inpatient and emergent cases.
- Interpret relevant imaging studies (CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy) to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including surgery, cardiology, and oncology.
Compensation & Benefits:
