A hospital-affiliated, community-focused medical center in Chicago, IL is seeking a BC/BE Interventional Radiologist to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team. This full-time role offers a broad IR scope in a modern hospital setting, performing image-guided procedures for a diverse urban patient population while collaborating closely with ER, surgery, and other specialties.
Position Highlights:
- Full-time hospital-employed role with a broad interventional radiology scope: peripheral vascular interventions, embolizations, tumor ablations, dialysis access, pain management, biopsies, drainages, and acute care procedures
- Access to state-of-the-art imaging and procedural suites, including advanced technology for vascular and non-vascular procedures
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including surgery, ER, oncology, and primary care
- Handle emergent and inpatient consults while providing image-guided procedural care
- Typical procedures: CT/MRI/ultrasound-guided biopsies and drains, paracentesis, thoracentesis, angiography/angioplasty, port and PICC placements, embolizations, and other general IR interventions
- Integrated care model with robust ER referral base and hospital support
- Work in a high-performing hospital serving a diverse urban population with strong emphasis on patient-centered care
- Located near downtown Chicago, offering world-class dining, arts, culture, Lake Michigan access, and excellent schools
Qualifications:
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Interventional Radiology (or Diagnostic Radiology with IR fellowship)
- Eligible for Illinois medical license
- Current DEA registration
- Strong clinical, procedural, and communication skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: $600K–$700K annualized, with productivity incentives
