About the Behavioral Health Service:
- 73-bed licensed inpatient behavioral healthcare center offering consultation liaison service, PHP/IOP clinic, and ECT service.
- It provides inpatient treatment for adults 18+ with acute illnesses requiring 24-hour medical care, operates as a certified Baker Act Receiving Facility, and accepts voluntary and direct admissions.
- In addition to the current inpatient services, implementation has begun for a group-based intensive outpatient service to be delivered on the campus
- Although physically adjoined to Hospital, this is a separate facility, ensuring confidentiality and patient privacy
- Site offers comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and treatment programs in an environment of comfort, caring and privacy. The facility features comfortable patient rooms, a private dining room and a specially designed occupational therapy department.
