Medical Center in western North Carolina is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join its hospitalist team, providing high-quality, patient-centered care for acutely ill adult patients in an inpatient setting.
Details/Requirements:
- 7AM–7PM day shift schedule
- Collaborative role working closely with hospitalist physicians
- Manage adult patients (18+) in an acute care environment
- Perform histories, physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Interpret diagnostic results and monitor patient response to therapies
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner program
- Current North Carolina PA license and NCCPA certification required
- BCLS (AHA) required; ACLS (AHA) within 12 months of hire
- Structured onboarding with rapid ramp-up
- Five years of RN experience in an acute care setting required
