Seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join a growing Hospital Medicine team in Southern Maine, with opportunities available in both a daytime admissions-focused role and a traditional inpatient Hospital Medicine role.


Two Positions Available:

Daytime Admissions APP:

  • Full-time inpatient opportunity
  • Daytime schedule with no overnight responsibilities
  • Admissions-focused role supporting patient flow and timely patient evaluations
  • Conduct comprehensive histories and physicals for new admissions
  • Perform detailed clinical assessments and develop initial care plans
  • Collaborate closely with attending physicians, hospitalists, and multidisciplinary care teams
  • Coordinate care transitions and discharge planning as appropriate
  • Structured onboarding and mentorship program available, including for new graduates
  • New graduates encouraged to apply, particularly those with strong inpatient clinical rotations

Hospital Medicine APP:

  • 0.8 FTE position with 12-hour shifts
  • Provide comprehensive inpatient care for hospitalized adult patients
  • Participate in daily interdisciplinary rounds
  • Assist with admissions, ongoing patient management, discharges, and care transitions
  • Collaborate with hospitalists, specialists, nursing staff, and case management teams
  • Support hospital quality, patient safety, and clinical excellence initiatives
  • Hospital Medicine, Internal Medicine, Acute Care, or inpatient experience preferred
