A growing, mission-driven not-for-profit regional health system in east-central Illinois is seeking a BC/BE Hospice & Palliative Care Physician to establish and lead a new service line within a well-supported, community-based hospital.
Position Highlights:
- Unique opportunity to build and lead a new hospice and palliative care service line from the ground up
- Hospital-based role within a 165-bed community hospital serving a 10-county regional area
- Strong interdisciplinary collaboration with hospitalists, oncology, critical care, and primary care teams
- Opportunity to develop inpatient consult services, outpatient palliative clinic, and hospice program integration
- Supported by experienced nursing, social work, and care coordination teams
- Significant autonomy in designing workflows, clinical models, and service line structure
