Seeking a full-time BC/BE Gastroenterology Hepatologist to join a high-performing team just northwest of Boston.
Details:
- The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to patients with liver disease, including pre- and post- liver transplant care.
- This role involves both inpatient and outpatient care, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and participation in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
- Focus on General Hepatology, and participate in our Liver Transplant Program
- Our Division of Gastroenterology is comprised of 23 physicians and 9 advanced practice providers
- Providers see approximately 20,000 outpatients per year for a wide variety of GI and liver related problems including regionally recognized care in inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, nutrition, biliary tract disorders, diseases of the pancreas, colon cancer, and gastrointestinal motility disorders.
- Physicians also perform approximately 20,000 endoscopy procedures annually
- Academic affiliation with UMass-Chan Medical School (teaching opportunities available)
- Transplant Hepatology fellowship training is desired, but not required
