Seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join a growing General Surgery team in Southern Maine, providing high-quality patient care in a collaborative surgical practice serving a large regional population.
Position Highlights:

- Join an established and expanding surgical services team
- Collaborate closely with surgeons and multidisciplinary care teams
- Evaluate, assess, and manage surgical patients across the continuum of care
- Perform patient histories, physical examinations, and ongoing clinical assessments
- Assist with treatment planning, follow-up care, and patient education
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing within scope of practice
- Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record
- Support patient-centered care in a collaborative hospital environment

Qualifications:
- Current or eligible licensure in Maine
- BLS certification required
- Two years' experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Surgery, or a related clinical setting preferred
- Experience with electronic health record systems preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-care skills
