Seeking a full-time BC/BE General Surgeon to join a thriving hospital-employed practice in Northern Illinois, offering a full range of elective and emergency surgical care in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
Position Highlights & Key Responsibilities:
- Hospital-employed role with broad general surgery scope, supported by a busy ER referral base.
- Perform elective general surgery, endoscopy, and acute care surgery; exposure to minimally invasive and robotic-assisted procedures.
- Collaborative, team-based environment with dedicated anesthesia, ICU, imaging, laboratory, and specialty support.
- Manage pre- and post-operative care, patient education, and follow-up.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate patient records.
- In-house call not required; 60-minute response time if needed.
- Work in a 180+bed acute care hospital with a long-standing commitment to patient-centered surgical excellence.
Compensation & Incentives:
- Base salary range of $430K–$500K with production incentives, sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance.
