A Critical Access Hospital in rural Eastern Oregon is seeking a BC/BE General Surgeon to provide surgical care across the surgery clinic, operating room, and on-call services.
Position Highlights:
- Full-time General Surgery opportunity
- Surgery clinic volume of ~22 patients per week, with opportunity for growth
- Typical case mix includes general surgery, endoscopy, colonoscopy, and emergency/trauma cases
- Provide general surgery and trauma call
- Round on surgery patients
- Serve as Trauma Medical Director with overall oversight of the Trauma program
- Provide leadership and educational guidance to the surgery team
- Collaborate with clinic and operating room leadership on best practices
- In-house staff assist with hospital privileging and credentialing
