Seeking a BC/BE General Psychiatrist for on-site services in Fargo, North Dakota.
Position Highlights
- Full-time, W-2 employed position
- On-site practice only
- Monday-Friday schedule
- Shared call rotation with approximately 2 weekends per quarter
Patient Population
- Adult and Adolescent patients
- Opportunities in:
- Inpatient Psychiatry
- Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
- Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Clinical Responsibilities
Inpatient Setting
- Conduct new patient admissions and evaluations
- Perform follow-up visits and medication management
- Complete discharge planning and summaries
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
PHP/IOP Setting
- Provide psychiatric care for adult and/or child/adolescent patients
- Conduct evaluations and medication management visits
- See outpatient patients assigned to PMHNPs when payer requirements necessitate physician involvement
Volume
- Average daily caseload of approximately 14-22 patients
