- Outpatient and with consultative call coverage
- Standard office hours (4.5 clinic days): Mon-Thurs: 8am-5pm / Fri: 8am-12pm
- Protected administrative time (4 hours per week)
- 40 mins new / 20 mins follow up (can be altered to fit the new physician, within reason)
- Current team: 2 physicians (+ 1 Part-time) and 1 APP
- Call Schedule: 1:3; no more than 10 days per month, involving collaborative.
- Physicians typically round in 1-week blocks (3-5 consults a week) in the hospital. Consults and rounds done by the physician on call collaborating with collaborative with Team Health the hospitalist
- Support Staff: Dedicated team including nurses, front office staff and experienced LPN/MAs with Endocrinology Care expertise.
- Cerner EMR
- Primarily adults aged 55 and older, including smokers and individuals with endocrine conditions such as undiagnosed and/or undertreated diabetes
- Patient Volume: 18 – 20 PER DAY
