Position Highlights:
- Full-time schedule of 15 shifts per month
- Primarily 8.5-hour shifts
- Flexible online scheduling with physician oversight
- Approximately 60,000 Emergency Department visits annually
- 84 hours of physician coverage daily
- 36 hours of physician assistant coverage daily
- Two physicians scheduled from 1:00 AM–7:00 AM
- Experienced, collegial Emergency Medicine team with an average physician tenure of more than 10 years
- Strong specialty support with in-house access to:
- General Surgery
- Anesthesia
- Obstetrics
- Neonatology
- 24-hour Cardiac Catheterization Lab
- Dedicated Hospitalist service for admissions
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Active or eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure
- Current BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications (ATLS required until Emergency Medicine Board Certification is obtained)
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered emergency care
Compensation & Benefits:
- $230/hour base compensation
- Annual performance bonus of up to $40K
