An established regional emergency department in Northern Idaho is seeking an experienced full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its high-acuity Emergency Medicine team in a modern, fast-paced clinical environment.
Position Highlights:
- Practice in a high-volume emergency department with approximately 60,000 annual patient encounters
- Experience preferred in Emergency Medicine and/or Critical Care
- Ideal candidates have prior experience in busy, high-acuity EDs, including Level I or II Trauma Centers
- Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, and ATLS
- 9-hour shifts, including 1 hour of dedicated time for care coordination and documentation
- Full-time schedule defined as 1,620 hours annually, with part-time options available
- Night shift differential available
- Collaborative environment with 24/7 hospitalist and intensivist coverage
- Full specialty backup support across medical and surgical disciplines
- Advanced imaging capabilities located adjacent to the emergency department, including CT, MRI, and ultrasound
