A growing, physician-led healthcare system in a rapidly expanding coastal South Carolina community is seeking a compassionate and collaborative Digestive Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its established gastroenterology service line and support continued program growth.
Position Highlights:
- Outpatient-focused GI practice with strong physician collaboration and mentorship
- Manage 20+ patients per day in a high-volume, well-supported clinic setting
- Work alongside experienced gastroenterologists performing 7,000+ endoscopy cases annually
- Exposure to advanced GI procedures including EUS, ERCP, capsule endoscopy, and high-definition endoscopy
- Treat a broad range of digestive conditions including liver, gallbladder, and pancreatic diseases
- Single-hospital coverage with clinic located on campus for streamlined care delivery
- Active participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards (GI, breast, colorectal, ENT)
- Strong referral base and growing service line with high patient demand
- Collaborative, team-based environment with ongoing mentorship and professional support
Additional Program & Practice Details:
- Modern, integrated single-site model connecting clinic, procedure, and hospital services
- On-campus digestive health clinic within a 220-bed Level III trauma center
- Advanced diagnostic and procedural technology, including PET, 64-slice CT, 3D mammography, and high-definition scopes
- Integrated EMR system with Cerner, Dragon dictation, and ambient AI documentation tools
- Collaboration with hospitalists, emergency medicine, and acute care teams for comprehensive coverage
- Strong referral relationships across surgical, oncology, and regional academic partners
- Bi-weekly multidisciplinary tumor boards to support complex case management
- Expanding program with ongoing investment in digestive health services
