Seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a collaborative Critical Care team in Southern Maine, providing comprehensive ICU care within a regional referral center serving a broad patient population.


Position Highlights:

  • Full-time Critical Care opportunity within a multidisciplinary ICU team
  • Work alongside experienced intensivists, specialists, nurses, and respiratory therapists
  • Provide comprehensive management of critically ill patients in a high-acuity setting
  • Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage complex medical conditions
  • Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds and collaborative care planning
  • Perform ICU-related procedures consistent with training and credentialing, including central line placement, arterial line insertion, and intubation assistance
  • Interpret laboratory results, imaging studies, and hemodynamic monitoring data
  • Full-time schedule with rotating shifts that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Regional referral center with strong specialty support and advanced clinical resources


Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current or eligible Maine NP or PA licensure
  • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Critical Care or ICU experience preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-based environment caring for high-acuity patients
