A growing hospital-based surgical program in central Illinois is seeking a full-time BE/BC Colorectal Surgeon to help establish and grow a new colorectal surgery service line within a well-supported, community-focused healthcare system.
Position Highlights:
- Unique opportunity to launch and build a colorectal surgery service line from the ground up
- Join an established general surgery team with strong clinical and administrative support
- Bread-and-butter colorectal surgery with opportunity to shape program development and referral pathways
- Must be comfortable taking general surgery call as part of a shared surgical call pool
- Strong collaboration with gastroenterology, oncology, and primary care for coordinated patient care
- Opportunity to influence clinical protocols, workflows, and service line expansion
- Balanced mix of inpatient, outpatient, and operative responsibilities
- Supportive OR environment with access to modern surgical facilities and equipment
